| Introduction | I am Pat's executive assistant and try to help her out wherever I can. I am originally from Texas. I was raised in a Christian home and first felt the call to full-time ministry in my early teens. I received an undergraduate degree in nursing thinking I would spend my life on the mission field, but God has had other plans for me. I did serve two years with a mission organization after college. While completing my MA in Ministry-Based Evangelism, I felt God was calling me to stay in the states and before I knew it I was moving to Florida to serve on staff at A Woman's Place. I have learned a lot in the two years that I have been here, but the most significant thing I've learned is that the more I know, the more I realize I don't know much at all. God is bigger than I ever imagined when I began this journey 24 years ago! (For those of you who are trying to figure it out or guessing...I'm 29.)
