| Introduction | is a multiple award-winning Ojibway birch bark biting artist from the Fond du Lac Band in Minnesota. She is also known for her museum-quality birch bark canisters as well as her exquisite one-of-a-king jewelry pieces inspired by the traditional birch bark bitings. She follows in the footsteps of her late mother as one of only 10 birch bark biters in North America. She studied silversmithing with Lane Coulter at IAIA (American Institute of Indian Arts) and with her mentor and life partner Fritz Casuse. |
