Since majoring in art at college, I have painted in various media including watercolor, charcoal and oil. Much of my inspiration for painting derives from the majestic mountains and dramatic landscapes and seascapes that abound in Alaska where I have resided since a child. Many paintings are snippets of the breathtaking beauty I observe while cruising to Orca Island Cabins in Resurrection Bay near Seward where my husband and I operate a cabin rental business on an island in Humpy Cove. Additional inspiration derives from the small seaport town of Seward where I live. My inspiration runs deep and I invite you to follow me on my artistic journey. |
