| Introduction | Did 4 years in the Marines; saw a good part of the world, including a life-changing visit, at Uncle Sam's request, to a certain garden spot in Southeast Asia in 1965-'66. After the Corps, inadvertently got into the computer field as a computer operator trainee in 1966, was fortunate enough to work my way up to Director of Information Technology, eventually running the computer division for one of the largest Philadelphia-based oil companies. Fulfilled a career-long goal and retired at 50, and did something i always wanted to do....opened my own hobby store; now have two. Been married for 25 years (second marriage) and can honestly say, I've never been happier in my life. UPDATE (4/2012): Relocated, at long last, to Boca Raton FL; temporarily retired until I figure out what I want to do next. |
