Introduction Both widely researched and personally acknowledged, our cultural lifestyles commonly leave us with a sense of fragmentation, deep stress, feeling objectified, and a deep primal need for belonging and community. Dan Shelton has spent his whole adult life studying and experiencing these feelings and losses in our culture. He recently completed a combination M.S./Ph.D in the science of Applied Ecopsychology and Integrated Ecology, studying the Human-Nature relationship. His dissertation focused on Ecological Community and Belonging through Sensory Ecology and The Natural Systems Thinking Process (Cohen, 2003). Dan is facilitator/guide with his Nature-Connected Education and Natureskills pedagogy (Copyright Danny C. Shelton, 2009). His art and method of education is non-conventional and experiential. He has over 20 years experience helping people rediscover the peace of their inborn Human-Nature relationship.
Interests My profession is in Education related to the Human-Nature Relationship, Applied Ecopsychology, and Sensory Ecology.
