Introduction	My name is Margaret Horner and I'm the secretary of the Kaharoa Kokako Trust. The Trust is an amazing group of volunteers who work to protect kokako at Kaharoa, so we can help the population of these wonderful birds to increase. When I think of all the endangered species in the world, it makes me sad. When I think about what we have achieved at Kaharoa to save the kokako, it gives me tremendous hope. We are living proof that even small groups of committed individuals can make a huge difference.
