| Introduction | We are Matt and Dawn and we are the Creative Pair. We bought our first home in April 2011 and since then it has been project after project. We love to make improvements to our home and don't mind the time it takes to make things perfect (well, as close to perfect as we can get). We are DIY-ers and although we have learned a lot, we still face challenges and problems along the way. We might not know everything there is to home improvements but we are not afraid to jump head first into a new project. We hope to inspire others like us who are looking into tackling their own home improvements. Matt is a landscaper and not only has a green thumb but the perfect landscaping-design-eye. As much as I would like to think I have the green thumb, I usually leave the yard work to Matt. I, on the other hand, am a crafter at heart. I absolutely love to create and explore ideas for our home. From all the past projects I have learned a thing or two about power tools and craftsmanship but I still seek a lot of help from Matt who has had more experience.
