| Introduction | A freelance reviewer for a certain retailer and contributing writer on lovehkfilm.com (I'm also available for any freelance and Traditional Chinese-English translation work! Yeah, shameless plug, I know). I can't claim to be any expert on the cinematic traditions I write about, but I do now live in Hong Kong, and spent one year in Japan. So maybe it might count for something. While at one point, my potential research topic was the effect of the new Panasian cinema tradition on national cinematic traditions in Asia, I am instead another starving film student. At least I'm in Hong Kong. Why Golden Rock, you ask? It's the name of my pseudo-production company as well, not that I've made any quality film as of today. But I'll work on it. Promise.
