| Introduction | Born and raised on the High Plains of Texas, and the Llano Estacado. Well read, well educated (considering I'm the first in all branches of my family to graduate from a university, and be awarded graduate degrees). I am certainly not smarter, just more formal education. Actually, my ancestors must have been much, much smarter in order to survive the indians, and other depredations of the high plains. My great, great grandmother was kidnapped by the Comanche, and become one of the people of the plains. |
| Interests | writing, reading, history, poetry, training dogs, enjoying nature, and most importantly, enjoying people. |
| Favorite movies | Lonesome Dove, Unforgiven, Little Big Man, Eastwood's The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly series. Anything with Robert Duvall, Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, and the new guy, what's-his-name. Edwin something or the other - the guy who played a good cop in family of cops headed by Jon Voight. |
| Favorite music | Rock-n Roll, Country, Classical, and old time religious hymns. |
| Favorite books | Lonesome Dove, the Benderberry Narritivies, anything by Larry McMutry. Throw in some War and Peace, and a lot of history, or biography - which are basically the same in my opinion. |
