Introduction	Looks like I've grown into an aged man with more time on his hands than he has a right. So I poke at the keys, almost randomly. Somehow, someway, out of this and the other blogs I write, a novel emerged. Twelve-toed and ugly as sin, but she reads surprisingly well (so long as your expectations are low). I call my style Folk Art. Might be simpler to say, "forgive me."
Interests	Reading, gardening, fishing, canoeing, working with wood, travel, daily exercise, time with family and friends, have written two unpublished manuscripts and two published books, lure building, fly tying, processing food and atmosphere and finally having enough time to spend with my wife Lois.
Favorite music	John Prine, Mozart piano Concertos, Carl Perkins, French-Canadian Hip-Hop if heard on the road in Manitoba.
Favorite books	All time list: The Magic Mountain, From Here to Eternity, Slaughterhouse Five, The Grapes of Wrath, The Summer of Ordinary Ways, The Silent Land, Canoeing With the Cree, A Walk in the Woods, anything by John Gierach, Paulette Jiles, etc
