Favorite movies	From Zeffirelli to Aronofsky via Fincher, Kubrick, Anderson, the Coens and Paul Verhoeven- firmly believe that RoboCop is the second best film about Jesus in the history of cinema, and that Jeff Lebowski is the greatest fictional character devised to date in any media.
Favorite music	Anything with a high ratio of dual guitar harmony, final verse key changes and gratuitous doses of cowbell. Any album clocking over 30 minutes is probably trying way too hard.
Favorite books	Everything from black pop nihilism to black pop cultural criticism through combustible social commentary, old standbys like HST, Anglo fantasists with 'mythical London' fixations, blogs, newspapers (for those deeply unfashionable Current Affairs and Politics things) hastily photocopied anarchist tracts, biographies of disgraced rock elder statesmen, toilet walls in regional TAFEs and, yes, even comics.
