About me

GenderFemale
OccupationWedding & Event Planner
LocationNew Richmond, Wisconsin, United States
IntroductionI have been blessed with a very busy career and a very busy family. My husband, Dave, and I have five children. I think we have nearly all sport activities and school activities covered between all of them; Football (2 of them), Hockey, LaCrosse, Wrestling (2 of them), Track (2 of them), Cross-Country, Volleyball and Baseball. Everyone is very talented with musical instruments; Drums, Guitar, Keyboards, and Bass Guitar. The kids are also very active in snowboarding, skateboarding, skiing, motorcycles, and fishing. I am a professional wedding and event coordinator, with my own business and my husband has been in the audio/visual field for over 20 years. He works freelance and also is the manager of Audio/Visual Department at the Graves601 Hotel in Minneapolis. We have two wiener dogs, Winston Churchill and Theodore Roosevelt, a bird; Beebe, and a fish; Dave. We recently moved across the St. Croix River from Minnesota to Wisconsin. We love it! It is a beautiful and charming small town yet only a small jump to the Twin Cities.
InterestsMy children or children in general, anything to do with weddings or events, reading, baking, trying new recipes, grilling outdoors, gardening, autumn, spring, summer and even winter! community service, traveling to experience new scenery and lifestyles, and God's beauty and grace.
Favorite moviesI love movies in general. I am not a huge sci-fi fan; so that is probably my least favorite and I find I don't really like anything that has Will Farrell or Jim Carey in it (although I do enjoy comedies). I seem to love all the movies Robert Redford has directed (and this was not intentional, but in going thru my list I noticed many) a couple that stand out, Legends of the Fall, A River Runs Through It,. I love good performances, well written scripts and something I can walk away from giving a second thought.
Favorite musicAnything that contains talent. Music is such an art of expression. Since we are in the audio field and also do DJ work, I am exposed to so many different kinds of music and I find I enjoy most. It depends on the time, place, and mood as to what is my favorite that moment.
Favorite booksI love to read. My tastes seem to gravitate to great literature pieces, non-fiction (I love a true story), motivational books, quotes, scripture, children books, information books (gardening, event planning, weddings, flowers, linens, you name it; if it has to do with weddings/events I will most likely love it. I love reading cookbooks and believe it or not I really enjoy reading my dictionary (I am such a nerd!)
