| Interests | Hello out there! I am going to tell you something about myself. I am an English teacher at Sto. Tomás de Villanueva, Granada. I teach 2 ESO and 3 ESO students. The thing I love the most of my job is that it offers me the possibility to be with young people and learn from their lives and be with them when they have problems. Apart from that, I am keen on sports specially three: basketball, cycling, hiking and athletics. I have been playing basketball since I was ten. I love this team sport because it involves a lot of skills such as jumping, visualizing the correct position of your mates, etc. Cycling is my second favourite sport as you are in the fresh air discovering new places. Hiking gives me the chance to go uphill and watch wonderful landscapes and sleep under the stars. Finally, recently I took up athletics because some friends told me it will help to be fit all around the year and in short time. Actually, I am mad about it due to the fact that one can break his/her own records. I am fond of music. Every time I have the chance to go to a concert I do not miss it. I would like to play an instrument (the guitar specially), but I do not have time enough to learn how to play it. I must admit that I do not like all kinds of music. Rock, indie and Britpop are the music styles that make me rock, and, of course, the classics The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, and a very long etcetera. Although, I have not got a lot of free time I like watching a good film late in the evening when everything is quiet. All of Clint Eastwood´s films are among my favourite films, specially “Gran Torino”. But what really matters to me and what gives sense to my existence is my family. Without them I could not get up every day. Thank you for all your support! |
