Introduction	I am a History undergraduate at Aberystwyth University. I study the Later Medieval and Early Modern and Victorian periods of English history, with an emphasis upon the social, cultural and economic aspects of past societies. As a student of History, I hope writing outside of an academic environment will encourage me to research more widely into these subjects, without a looming essay deadline or a marking criteria to adhere to. Sometimes the most interesting sources you dig up are the ones that never get included in your work, which is a powerful shame because they're often the ones which raise the most intriguing questions.
