About me

Introduction	Brieanna Bowman is a 17-year-old high school journalist at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland. At BMHS, Brieanna serves as the Design Chief on the school’s newspaper, The Stampede, as well as a crewmember on the school’s television station, WMAC.After three years serving on The Stampede and the one year working as crew on the television station, heading into Brieanna’s senior year she has a clear view of majoring in broadcast journalism. Brieanna is also involved in numerous activities. She is involved in the school’s theater program, working back stage during productions. She is in National Honor Society, Thespian Society, Sectary of French Club, a youth leader, and the First Lieutenant for the Wesley Brown Explorers Program. Brieanna’s reason for attending this program was to work on her journalism skills as she prepares to leave high school and go off to college majoring in broadcast journalism. Also, the added bonus of meeting new people and earning college credit made the choice to apply easier.
