| Introduction | I'm not one to talk about myself. It makes me blush thanks to my pale Irish skin. But for the purposes of the "About Me" section, I guess I will say a few things (especially since you can't see me blush!). I am a 23-year-old Registered Dietitian from Cincinnati, Ohio. I also have a Certificate of Baking and Pastry, which I obtained from Oregon Culinary Institute in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. Pastry school after Dietetics?! Ironic, I know. You might think that the 4 MONTHS that I spent in pastry school could easily cancel out the 4+ YEARS that I spent studying nutrition. Almost, but not quite. They actually complement one another very well and have helped me to develop my food philosophy... I believe that there are no "bad" foods and that no food should ever be off-limits or eliminated from a diet unless a medical condition deems it necessary. Decadent foods made from natural ingredients can and absolutely should be enjoyed in moderation.
