Introduction	For the past eight years I have served as a missionary to the urban poor in Brazil. I returned to the states in December to complete my service with the mission board on six months of "stateside assignment." This is a simple journal of my transition back to the United States after living in a beautiful land and ministering alongside some beautiful people. This is a time in which I want to continue to serve God with a "Joyful Heart" in spite of leaving behind friends and ministries and my desire is to allow Him to lead me into my new adventures.
