Introduction	I swore I would never be "one of THOSE people". You know, the ones who have kids and then can talk and think about nothing else. Silly me. I am one of those people and I don't apologize. My children are amazing and every day since they have come into my life has been better than the last. This is my attempt at journaling - since I've done a terrible job up until now... but no regrets just move on.
Interests	I'm interested in a lot of things... Traveling, cooking, books, camping, hanging out, music, movies, I like to talk - a lot - especially about people's ideas on religion, politics, and the world. I'm looking for some new hobbies. I am not very athletic by nature but want to get into something my whole family can do and enjoy together.
Favorite movies	WOW! This is a huge task to narrow down. A favorite movie for me is one I can and have watched over and over... here are a few Princess Bride, Music & Lyrics, Dangerous Beauty, Circle of Friends, Fried Green Tomatoes, Best in Show, Pride and Prejudice, With Honors, Pretty in Pink, Say Anything, Gross Pointe Blank, Much Ado About Nothing, Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Shakespeare in Love
Favorite music	This one really depends on mood.... I'm just a fan of music. Alternative/ Indie / Folk / and anything that makes me wanna' get my groove on! Elliot Smith, Beatles, Peter Saliet, Wilco, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Beautiful South, Modest Mouse, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Dandy Warhols, Cure, Eagles, James Taylor, James Blount, Natalie Merchant, Jewel, Dianna Krawl, Norah Jones, Robbie Williams, Weezer, U2, Coldplay, The Pixies, Iz Kamakawiwo'ole, Violent Femmes, REM, Gwen Steffani... on and on and on
Favorite books	Again too many books to even begin to list......... My favorite genre is actually young adult anti-utopia (like The Giver, Among the Hidden, Running out of Time) and Historical Fiction. I do enjoy a good trashy historical romance now and then. I also really really like philosophy books, travel journals, and education ideals.
