| Introduction | Brad and I were married back on May 17, 2003. We enjoyed 2 and a half years of marriage before deciding we were ready to start our family. God, however, had different plans for us. The past 4 years have had their share of ups and downs, well ok, way more downs than ups. But through this journey, God has given us the grace to continue and to grow. He has led us down the path of embryo adoption - one which we never even knew existed back when we started this journey. We feel so extremely blessed to have been given this gift of our little snowflake baby girl. She was "created" in July, 2006, frozen like a precious, unique snowflake for 3 years. In September, 2009 she was thawed and transferred and we were thrilled to hear the words we've waited so long to hear on September 15th, 2009 - we're pregnant!!! |
