| Introduction | Multiple award winning Edaoto Agbeniyi leads the world touring Edaoto and the Afrogenius Band. A band that has graced several performance stages around the world with its Afrobeat music. Some few places where the band has played in the past includes: French Cultural Center-Nigeria Television Authority’s 2009 World Music Day celebration; we were part of the team of artistes that performed at the opening ceremony of the under 17 FIFAWorld Cup Nigeria 2010, French Cultural Center Showcase 2003, Goethe Institu- FrenchCultural Center’s 2011 World Music Day celebration; Ife Poetry Festivals, NaiJazz 2008, WordSlam’s Festivals and Edaoto was an international guest at the Harare Int. Festival of the Art (HIFA2012)Zimbabwe; Yoruba Youth Congress, 2012, Detriot, MI, US. Bayimba International Festival of the Art, Kampala, Uganda 2012. The Band is also a regular performer at the yearly Felabration Festival. A nice outing of the Band was also recorded on the tour of Ethiopia (Dec2013 – Jan2014).
