| Introduction | I have written as far back as I can remember. Everyone in my family has.My grandmothers and aunts used to write me stories encompassing all of our local resident animals, usually consisting of squirrels, birds, turtles, frogs, dogs and cats. We were countrified on the outskirts of mega-urbanity. Super urban. Today where I fished and picked strawberries and oranges, there is continuous city from the Gulf of Mexico. It's solid humanity for miles and miles. I miss the palmettos and grassy fields, progress some would call it. Regress I call it. It was home, and I miss it. |
