Introduction	I love New Orleans. It’s where hedonism and selfless kindness intersect, where you can dance your heart out until the sun comes up, and drink your hangover away Bloody Mary-style…all on a Tuesday. Hanging in the humid air and spilling out saxophones is the soul of a city unlike any other. And it’s a city still desperately struggling, years later, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. My work here is an attempt to document the devastation, to preserve what’s left of formerly vibrant neighborhoods like the 9th Ward, and to call attention to inexcusable neglect. At the same time, I hope to celebrate what makes this city great, to remind people of the importance of saving it.
