Introduction	Like many, watching ‘Blue Planet’ and ‘Drowning in Plastic’ really hit home and I felt compelled to change the way I think about plastic. So as everyone embarked on Dry January, Veganuary and/or Januhairy we started 2019 with ‘Plastic Free January’. The rules: don’t buy anything plastic or with plastic packaging. It was intended to be a bit of fun to occupy a wintery Saturday morning as we explored different ways of filling up the cupboards and fridge for the week. The thought was that at the end of January we would stick with the swaps we liked and life would then just revert to normal with the rest. For the month of January if I couldn’t find it; I just did without. The purpose of this Blog is to share my experiences and frustrations as this plastic free journey unfolds leading to A Greener Life.
