Introduction I experienced my first migraine at age 6, so I've been on this wild ride for more than 25 years now. But in 2003, my migraines became much, much worse for no easily identifiable reason. Ever since I've been trying to find the right combination of preventatives and have a somewhat normal life. It is hard work being sick and trying to get well, but I'm hanging in there. I'm married to a great guy, C, and I'm furmom to Felix, our super sweet, adorable kitty, and Maisy, the Jack Russell terrier who is the newest member of our family. I enjoy reading, yoga, knitting, writing, and watching college sports, tv, and movies. For three years, I was an attorney in state government, but I left my job because of my illness. Now I'm focusing my energy on my blog, Somebody Heal Me, helping other patients and trying to make the best of my situation.
