| Introduction | Dinesh Kumar Agrawal has more than 18 Years of experience from his time with the Indian Customs. He joined Indian Customs as “Appraiser” in Chennai Custom House, one of the highest revenue earners in India in 1991. He has hands-on experience of customs appraisement, classification of goods, eligibility to exemption notifications, import export policy and procedures, audit of import documents and compliances and valuation matters. He has also gained valuable practical experience of the interpretation of the service tax laws and procedures. He as Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh was in charge of Technical, Preventive, Audit, Adjudication, Reveiw and Appeal. He gained insight of Central Excise law and procedure from department perspective. Presently, he is assisting a number of clients in the pharmaceutical, textiles, software and engineering sectors, the service industry, etc. He is a Commerce Graduate from St Xavier's College, Kolkata (1984-1988). He is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Cost & works Accountants of India (1988) and a Associate Member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India (M.No. 087237) |
