Introduction I have been teaching in the Boise School District since 1989. I taught at Adams Elementary for nine years in grades 2, 4 and 4/5. I then taught for four years at Trail Wind Elementary as a fifth grade teacher. At Monroe, I taught 3/4 and 4/5 combination classes, third grade and first grade. For three years between my time at Trail Wind and Monroe, I was a Boise Schools Technology Fellow, an assignment that gave me the opportunity to explore and teach effective integration of technology into the learning process. I received a BA in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 1988, and an MS in Educational Technology from Boise State University in 2003. In August 2008, I completed coursework in Montessori education and earned certification from the North American Montessori Center for lower elementary students (ages 6-9). In 2009, I moved to the Liberty School Montessori program to be a lead teacher for a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom.
