Introduction | I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and studied Political Science at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. After graduation, I was commissioned as an active duty Army infantry officer in the 101st Airborne Division. I served in Iraq in 2003 and after returning to Fort Campbell I suffered a heat stroke on a morning run and the doctors held me back from deploying a second time. I stayed home for a year to take care of our deployed Soldiers' families as well as the casualties who returned from the battlefield. During that tough year of ministry on the homefront, I felt called by God to become an Army chaplain. So, I'm currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California as well as serving as a chaplain candidate in the California Army National Guard. I am also blessed to serve as the associate pastor at our church in Pasadena. I am working towards licensing and ordination in the Church of God Reformation Movement(Anderson, Indiana). My wife Addie and I welcomed our first child, a beautiful son named Gavin Michael Krull, on July 20th, 2007. We are looking forward to returning to the active duty Army hopefully in early 2010. |
