| Introduction | I have lived in Burlington, NC all my life. I have always had an active interest in how things worked and the easiest and most product way to get things to work. This is why I am so interested in the issues surrounding sustainable development. In my work, I am mostly retired from corporate life. I am partial to red wine and tend to be a bit overweight. I love to read novels and listen to DAWG music. For the last 5 years, I have been the primary caretaker to my wife Frances, who has dementia. |
