Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
Tie an extra bowstring (What decent archer would leave home with no extra bowstrings? It would be possible suicide) to the bow so that it is taut, and then pluck the strings rhythmically, tap your foot and hum a tune. Hope you don't get killed.
