| Introduction | We’re inviting you into a living world that has been here all along—present, enduring, and no longer hidden. In each post, we share glimpses of how we live, what we remember, and what we continue to protect. We are citizens of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape, and our customs, seasonal ways, and celebrations have been carried forward through many generations. Every generation leaves markers—teachings placed gently into the lives of the next. We have remained in our homeland, here in New Jersey, since time beyond memory. Through change, pressure, and misunderstanding, we learned how to survive and still be “our people,” honoring the promises made to our elders. This blog is a space for reflection, story, and presence—sharing our culture openly, with respect and care. If you feel called, please subscribe and walk with us. We truly hope you enjoy the posts. |
