| Introduction | I currently manage a Unix Operations group with ACT Inc, in Iowa City. I live just outside of IC with a wife and 4 year old twins.
History: I graduated in 1998 from Atlantic High School in Atlantic, IA. Went on to college at Northwest Missouri State University (Go Bearcats!) and completed my B.S. in Computer Management Systems in 2002. After college I moved to Omaha and worked for West Corporation, first in their NOC and after a year moved to Systems Administration. After 3 more years as a Unix admin in a couple departments, I made the move to Iowa City as a Sr Unix Admin at ACT. I currently hold two professional certifications, in 2005 I obtained my RHCE (#804005646814606) and in 2011 I obtained my GIAC GPEN. Outside of work I am an avid golfer (not so much since the birth of our twins). I also do a little target shooting. Other interests include wood working (still pretty new at it) and I do enjoy my gadgets. |
