About me

Gender Female
Location Kellyville, NSW, Australia
Introduction I was born in the coastal town of Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay. I began attending art classes when I was ten years old, studying with well-known Uruguayan artists who taught me everything I know. When I was in high school I started taking part in group exhibitions. I sold my first painting at the age of 14. I also completed two years of a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Hence my passion for drawing and painting buildings. I moved to Australia at a young age and have lived here since then, with a brief stint in Los Angeles, USA, during the 1990s. I worked ten years as a writer for the NSW State Government; and also as a journalist, both on the print and online media. I was part owner and editor of the Hispano American Newspaper in Australia (print) for 13 years, and Latino America Viva (online) for 12 years. I also taught art at several art schools. My paintings are inspired by the places I have visited in my extensive travels, both overseas and across this amazing country.
