Introduction	I. Am. Addicted. In October of 2012 I COMPLETED my first marathon! Yes you read right, a marathon. A full 26.2 miles. More specifically the 2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. To date it was probably the best and worst moment of my life thus far. The whole experience was a whirlwind of emotions - exhilarating to frustrating, exhausting to feeling invincible, disappointing to pure joy, and everything in between. There were moments when I felt like I was a Kenyan passing everyone and times I was just fine with bowing out of the race and taking a DNF next to my name. So here is to the next part of my journey: conquering 26.2 miles in each of the 50 states... one down 49 to go!
