| Introduction | graduated from Univ Of Phoenix, worked for Motorola for way too many years...am a substitute teacher for mesa schools and i love mixed media art...paint paint paint . we have 3 sons and my mom who i just brought home from assisted living and she suffers from severe dementia, i am receiving help from Hospice. After bringing mom home for assisted living many of my outside activities were changed. I do not have caregivers every day and so i am the main caregiver...There is no alterative..i tried two other group homes for short periods of time ..5 days...but i have determined the home is only as good as the caregiver...don't choose a home based on the nice clean lawn and the pretty colored home...if you are a caregiver i would love to hear from you...I am inspired by stories of care for a loved one! enjoy I wrote a book ' worthsaving memoir' detailing the over 6 years I cared for mom who at times would say ' Why do you call me mother" |
