| Introduction | When I first started this blog, I lived in Putnam County, NY, which has been characterized as the most conservative county in the State of New York. On the other hand, I am as liberal as they come. Since it was impossible for me to have an intelligent conversation about politics there, I decided to start this blog so I could find some outlet for my thoughts about political and social events and media coverage of those events. Now I am no longer a practicing attorney, but work as a writer on tax and legal issues. And I no longer live in Putnam County, so I guess the best explanation for the continuation of this blog is inertia. Although I must admit, it continues to provide a good outlet when the craziness of the world overwhelms me.... |
