Introduction | I am an emerging folk artist specializing in antique style dolls and paintings. I love the look of early Americana and draw my inspirations from both the colonial itinerent painters of New England and the artistry of the dollmaker, Izannah Walker. I fashion my art as if I were creating the likeness of actual children from colonial and victorian New England; resulting in what I call "folk art portrait dolls". With little formal training; I consider myself a true self-taught artist. As of 2012, I am creating folk art santas and angels; just adding to the magic of all that is wonderful about being a child; the magic of play and make believe. My favorite childhood games.
