Introduction | Dr Beryl Burns is a part time lecturer and researcher in the Informatics Research Institute (IRIS) - a 6* RAE rated Research Institute, Salford Business School, University of Salford. The Research Institute is concerned with sociotechnical nature of work organisations and society. She worked for twelve years as a computer engineer in public sector primary, secondary and special needs schools providing expertise in IT/ICT support and computer maintenance. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology and a PhD in Information Systems. She has several academic conference, journal and ESF project final report publications. |
