Lover of apocalyptic sci-fi and graphic novels . My family (one geek husband, two geek offspring) is the love of my life. I battled Cushing's Disease for ten years. Three brain surgeries and one bilateral adrenalectomy later, I am cured and healthy, though my life is far more complicated than I ever imagined. I'm now fully dependent on western medicine in the form of multiple medications, including pills & injections, for day to day survival. Like I said, it's complicated. |
