Introduction	I have been married to my husband for 10 years. We have one son and one daughter. My children bring me so much joy and happiness. They are my life. Being a mother is so rewarding as well as challenging. Some of my challenges are understanding what it takes to raise our children. When our daughter joined our family, she brought on a new challenge, Trisomy 21 (AKA - Down Syndrome). Everyday brings new accomplishments that both our children make. We are so proud of them and love them so much. I am also a 5th grade teacher, so you can see working with children truly is a passion of mine. I currently teach literacy and social studies.
Interests	Spending time with my family.
Favorite Books	Love the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series. I hope a new series comes out that is just as good. Other than that, I enjoy a good mystery/thriller. As a 5th grade literacy teacher, I do enjoy reading the books my students read. Not only does it help me to prepare for discussions I have with them, but some of the children's books they read are really good.
