| Introduction | Politically speaking, I'm liberal left with a dash of conservative. I love our Founding Documents: the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and Federalist Papers, and I dabble in the aspects of law that most often affect the poor and middle class. I believe the freedoms we enjoy come at the expense of a patriotic duty to our nation, and a moral and ethical responsibility to our citizens. I find the lack of a truly free mainstream media repugnant, and spend a lot of time fact-checking. I constantly compain about political issues, but direct that energy into formulating feasible solutions. I welcome supporting and opposing comments; informed debate is great, and allows us to strengthen or alter our own positions. I detest willful ignorance, greed and hypocrisy. I read, am interested in and have an opinion about just about everything, and I'm not afraid to share it. |
