| Introduction | Pete is co-founder and CEO of Blackfryers. An experienced planning, transport and sustainable development expert, Pete has specialized in carbon and sustainable development issues, strategies, active travel and bidding for funding such as the Local Sustainable Travel Fund. Particular areas of expertise include climate change, transport, planning applications and the natural environment. Until 2010 he led the award winning Environment Team at GMPTE, and he has been involved with a wide range of external organizations. He served as an elected member of Warrington Borough Council for six years, so fully understands the local democratic process. |
