About me

Introduction I have always had a fascination with plant life. It amazes me still that something so enormous can grow out of something as small as a seed. I have had family gardens in the past where we just bought the plants from the local supermarket and planted them in a tilled place in the yard. We usually planted tomatoes and bell peppers-neither of which produced much-but what it did produce was the best tasting thing I have ever had. Once I took a bite of a warm, off-the-vine, tomato I was hooked. I always promised myself that one day when I grew up I was going to start a garden of my own; one that involved more plants and a lot more work. This is me fulfilling that promise to myself and writing about my time as a novice gardener.
