| Introduction | I'm a physicist by training, but my occupation has me more of an "experimental" engineer than anything else. I've had some luck starting and selling a small tech company, but my main profession is working as a senior scientist for a large corporation. I got into coastal power boating about ten years ago when five friends and I rented a held- together-with-duct tape 49' house boat for three days, drove it all the way to the gulf stream, and accidentally caught it on fire the last day as we were bringing it in just off Beaufort, NC. Fortunately, we got the fire out, and I've been hooked on coastal boating ever since. I am married with three daughters ages 25, 23, and 10. I live about a three hour drive from Charleston where I keep Hey Babe in dry stack. |
