Introduction	Juliet Grace was born 3 1/2 months early at 6:37pm on Thursday, July 8th, 2010. She weighed 1 lb, 14 oz and was 13 inches long. We were just wrapping up our family vacation in the Outer Banks, NC when she decided she was ready to make her grand entrance. As a result, Juliet was born 200 miles from home at Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, VA. She spent her first six weeks in Norfolk before a crew from Georgetown Hospital flew down and brought her back to DC. She lived at Georgetown Hospital for the remainder of her six months of life before ultimately losing her battle on January 9th, 2011. This blog was written as a way to get information to friends and family (and also as a coping mechanism for mom and dad). It now serves as a chronicle of her brief, but influential and inspiring life and as a way we all can continue to keep her memory alive.
