| Introduction | Sometimes I really wish I was Elizabeth Bennet. Other times I would like to be Francie Nolan. And still other times I think I would make a stellar Jane Eyre (generally when I am feeling morose). But mostly, I am content to be me. I never put the laundry away. I sporadically break into random accents. I would love to be a good cook but don’t have the patience. I would love to be an author, but I can never write past three pages without seeing all the glaring faults and tearing up the pages in a grandiose display of frustration. I have a delightfully creative husband who will do great things. I also have a rather naughty puppy who is fantastic at chewing all my good shoes. |
