| Introduction | Hello my name is Leslie Sanchez and I am currently living in a Ningbo, China. At the beginning of this year I felt the Lord place a huge desire in my heart to go to China to teach and because of Him I am here today. I have a job at a school called World International English. My vision for China is to walk like Jesus walked. I want to love others unconditionally the way that Jesus did. Also to have my spiritual eyes and ears open to whatever the Lord might have for me here. I want to reflect the power of Jesus wherever I go, and to be a living testimony full of conviction, boldness, faith, and discernment. I pray that my mind will be transformed and renewed through this process as well. The scripture that I am holding steadfast to is Isaiah 14:15--- "But you are brought down to (China) to the far reaches of the pit. Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you:... you will not be joined wth them... you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people." I feel like it's the land it this scripture speaks about is our flesh, and his promise is that I will conquer. Keep praying and I will pray for you also! God is good ALL THE TIME and he LISTENS! |
