Introduction	Aanand Davé is a PhD researcher within the School of Applied Sciences at Cranfield Univerisity. His background is in architectural systems and industrial engineering. Having gained his MA in 2011 from Portsmouth School of Architecture while working as a tutor in the School of Engineering at the University of Portsmouth, his areas of interest and taught subjects include Sustainable Materials, Industrial Design, Product lifecycle management (PLM), Architecture and Building Information Management (BIM). Currently, Aanand is working on on the the EPSRC Eco-Factories grand challenge under the supervision of Dr Peter Ball.
