| Introduction | I am Laura- Cristiana Lajos and I live in a very beautiful country, Romania. Its landscapes are a real dream and Romanians are famous for their hospitality. I have been teaching English for seven years in different highschools and my students are between 14 and 19 years old. I like best the students at this age,even if sometimes I have to deal with a lot of new things, new and" crazy" ideas they seem to have at school, yet very challenging. I enjoy attending different courses and conferences since I consider them real "doors" to self-improvement. Since the young generation, and my students especially, have all the time in the world for using the computer in almost all of their free time, I am really interested in keeping the pace with them. I have recently written an article in which I used the following qoutation which I do like: " A good teacher is like a candle- it consumes itself to light the way for others". I strogly believe that teachers are the only one who can help this very intelligent generation to follow their dreams and be better for themselves and the people around them. |
