Introduction	My primary area of genealogical research has been western Kentucky, and primarily Lyon and Caldwell counties. The blog includes thoughts on being sixty, a mother, a wife and a grandmother. I've been a software engineer, a high school teacher, a medical office manager and in August 2012 I returned to teaching math in a Shelby County school. I've learned a lot and try to learn something new every day. I try to do unsolicited research for others (genealogical kindness) and like to teach what I've learned at our Let's Discuss It group at the Tennessee Genealogical Society. What fun!! My children have become extremely interesting adults and my husband and I enjoy being around them. We hope to see our grandchildren as often as possible. Life is great!
