| Introduction | My name's Marcin and I come from Poland. This blog is only about collecting McDonald's advertising stuff. How did I get started collecting? Here's my story in brief: The first McDonald’s restaurant I saw in the capital of my home – Warsaw. That was “Warsaw Sezam Store” by a department store in Warsaw downtown. It was in 1992 on a school trip when I was 11. Then I already felt that the Golden Arches would be something very important for me. Just in 1998 I tasted McDonald’s the very first time and than I took my first traymat. I took to it so I send my first letter to McDonald’s. To date I have received over 1000 various collectibles from 90 countries. I collect advertising leaflets, brochures, handouts, trayliners, pins, business cards but the collection includes also annual reports and magazines. The size of my collection is up to the kindness of McDonald’s from all over the world. I enjoy characteristic looks of McDonald’s restaurants and advertising stuff. My goal is to collect at least one item form every McDonald's market. |
